Return and refund policy

Mr. Dutch Food strives for customer satisfaction. We take great care in delivering the products you have ordered. However, it can sometimes happen that products get damaged or the order does not meet your expectations.

You have a right of withdrawal of 14 days to return the product without giving any reason, starting on the day of receipt of the product. From the moment of the return notification, you have another 14 days to send the product back. The product can only be returned unused and, if possible, in the original packaging. The return costs are at your expense. You can also use the standard form. The standard form to withdraw the agreement can be found on the last page of the terms and conditions.

After receiving your return shipment, we will refund the paid purchase amount, including service costs and shipping costs (if the entire order is returned) within 14 days to your account. Mr. Dutch Food uses the same payment method for the refund that you used unless you agree to a different method. The refund is free of charge for you. Our terms and conditions regarding the right of withdrawal (articles 6 to 10) apply.

We value personal contact with our customers and will proactively ask after delivery whether the delivery is satisfactory. If something went wrong or the delivery is not to your satisfaction, we will compensate you for the damage incurred in good consultation. We will then refund the sales value of the relevant product including service costs to your bank account. Unfortunately it is not possible to send a product separately. However, you can place a new order in which we will send the relevant product to you.

If an entire package is lost or seriously damaged, we will reimburse you for the total shipment, including service costs and shipping costs. After consultation with us, you may also choose to have a replacement new package sent to you at no extra cost.

Fresh or frozen products

If you order fresh or frozen products, we will pack these items in good shipping packaging and add the necessary cooling elements or dry ice. We also ship these orders with express delivery. We will state this on the quotation. Of course, we strive to deliver the products to you as best/fresh as possible. If this is not possible, we will contact you to discuss a solution.

We ship fresh or frozen products at your own risk. You cannot return these. They will not be reimbursed if the freshness of the products is no longer sufficient upon receipt. In that case, we advise you not to consume the products, but to destroy them.

Products or offers not available?

If certain products are unexpectedly not available from our suppliers, we will contact you before shipping the package to you. You can then indicate whether you would like a credit note or a replacement item.
